Lessons for the acoustic, electric and bass...

Students, ranging in age from 5 to 50+ years old, from absolute beginner to accomplished musician, come in every day to learn a new chord, hone their skills and flourish under the patience and attentive ear each of our instructors provide. Walt Wetherington and Jordan Magoon provide expert tutelage in acoustic and bass guitars. Read more about them and their unique skills on our staff page.

Lessons are one-on-one and tailored to the student's needs, style and musical tastes. The cost is $25 per lesson with the recommendation of one lesson a week allowing the student time to practice and master the week's technique.

Why music lessons?

The value of music education is questioned during tough times. Though music lessons may seem to be an "extra" expense, studies prove music lessons help in many areas: analytical, social and creative. Studies have found they help:

  • Develop better math skills
  • Improve coordination
  • Boost self-confidence
  • Increase attention span

Did you know? The U.S. Department of Education lists the arts as subjects that college-bound middle and junior high school students should take. The very best engineers and technical designers in the Silicon Valley industry are, nearly without exception, practicing musicians.*
